Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-2 in a turn-of-the-mill game.

Manchester United, still in charge of Michael Carrick, sent Cristiano Ronaldo back into the starting XI while Arsenal gave Gabriel Martinel. Li plays in the starting lineup instead of Bukayo Saka, who is not fully physically fit.

Arsenal had nearly taken the lead in the first minutes of the corner, with Ben White heading into the ground but Marcus Rashford narrowly blocked the crossbar in the back.

Man Utd equalized 1-1 in the 44th minute when Fred slipped into the left half of the box before passing Bruno Fernandes, who made his 100th appearance for Manchester United.
