Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted he missed the chance to score a deserved goal in Thursday night’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United.

Arsenal’s first defeat to Manchester United in their last seven league games was a 1-0 lead and a 2-2 draw before coming on penalties causing a 2-3 loss and missing an opportunity. To be in the top four unfortunately

Aubameyang had several chances. But was unable to pass the ball through the hands of David de Gea, causing it to become criticized again after the weekend game against Newcastle, then shot straight into the post.

“We are disappointed because the team played very well tonight.  And We should have had better results. We dropped into the end of the first half until the goal was lost. In the second half we had the character to come back,” Aubameyang said.

“You have to be sharp both offensively and defensively in important moments. You have to play perfect against quality teams like Manchester United.”

“I should have to get up and score goals from opportunities like that which may become our score. Of course I should have scored but I will not give up and will keep trying to score goals.”
